Aleksandr Rogozhkin the director of my childhood movies is dead – cause of death

Aleksandr Rogozhkin, the director of my childhood movies, passed away today.

Foreign audiences might know him better from his war movies e.g. “Checkpoint” – about a platoon stationed in Northern Caucasus or “The Cuckoo”, about human relationships on the WW2’s northern frontier.
