70-year-old Rosie Lee Means was killed in the deadly Hennepin hit-and-run accident in the North Aldridge Avenue and West Broadway Area. According to reports, the crash occurred on Monday, October 11, 2021.

Initial investigations revealed that when she was hit by a jeep driven by 21-year-old Cameron Mikkel Bendson, Means crossed the road in a wheelchair on North Aldridge Avenue. According to officials, Means was thrown 50 feet from where she was hit. The authorities reported to the scene and declared Miens dead. After the accident, the driver of the vehicle involved in the accident fled the scene. His jeep was later found in the middle of Highway 100. Benderson has been arrested and will appear in court on Friday, October 15, 2021. The crash is still under investigation.
