The incident occurred around the Rosewood London Hotel, High Holborn on Saturday. The police were called around 03:56hrs following the reports of discharge of a firearm.

Apparently, gunshots were fired near the Central London hotel, where popular musician Drake was attending a party. Thankfully, no one was hurt from the shooting.

Just a day of investigation, the officers handcuffed a person named Andrew Cross as the potential gunman. Andrew Cross is 38 years old aged man.

On September 13, 2021, the police charged Cross with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life or to enable another to do so and possession of ammunition with intent to endanger life or to enable another to do so.

People are also suspecting Andrew Cross as the man arrested over possession of firearms 10 years ago.

Back in 2011, a 28 years old man with a similar name was convicted for having a prohibited firearm. He was consequently jailed for 11.5 years.

Since many descriptions of the man match with the recent Andree Cross event, people are assuming they might be the same person. However, the police have not confirmed the rumours yet.

On the other hand, Cross remains in the custody of the police right now. He is scheduled to appear at the Highbury Magistrates’ Court on 14 September 2021.
