Arsenal working hard to secure deals for Ben White and Albert Sambi Lokonga

Arsenal are ‘working hard’ to secure two signings at the earliest.

According to reports from The Standard, the Gunners are working hard on deals for Ben White and Albert Sambi Lokonga, after bids for both the players being rejected.

Earlier this week, The Athletic claimed that the Gunners have made a formal offer for Lokonga.

The Gunners are keen to bolster their midfield this summer and have earmarked the 21-year-old Anderlecht midfielder as a potential option.

Arsenal submitted an opening offer of €15 million (£12m), but the Belgian club want a guaranteed fee of €20m (£17m).

Likewise, the Gunners are heavily interested in signing White.

The 23-year-old impressed heavily last season for Brighton, and Arsenal are keen to get him on board.

The north London club have already submitted a £40m bid, but it was rejected by Brighton. They want a fee in the region of £50m for the England defender.

The report claims that Arsenal remain very keen on the duo and are still working hard to bring them in.

Other Arsenal targets

The Gunners are also looking to bolster their goalkeeping options this summer, and they hold an interest in Sheffield United goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale.

Arsenal are also keen to sign Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Ruben Neves who would be allowed to leave the club.

However, the Gunners won’t be able to sign Martin Odegaard this summer. Although the club didn’t give up on signing him, Carlo Ancelotti’s appointment means any potential deal looks unlikely.
